Orbit Sentinel Now Has a Public Status Page

If you build on Orbit Sentinel, you shouldn’t have to email us to find out whether it’s working. Starting today, status.viventine.com tells you.

The page shows the live state of the API, search, data ingestion, backups, and orbital data. Each one is marked Operational, Degraded, Major issue, or Unknown, with a plain-English note on what was checked. When we schedule maintenance, we post a notice there as well.

It checks the API from the outside, the way your requests reach it, and it runs separately from the systems it reports on. So it keeps working when they don’t.
