S-band
- A radio frequency band spanning approximately 2 to 4 GHz, used for weather radar, telemetry and command links to spacecraft, and some mobile satellite services.
- S-band is commonly used for satellite telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C) links because it offers a good balance between antenna size, atmospheric penetration, and available bandwidth.
