Radio Regulations
- The international treaty governing the use of radio-frequency spectrum and satellite orbital resources, maintained by the ITU and updated every three to four years at World Radiocommunication Conferences (WRCs).
- The Radio Regulations define how spectrum is allocated across services (fixed, mobile, broadcasting, satellite), establish coordination procedures for satellite networks, and set the rules for registering frequency assignments in the Master International Frequency Register.
